The Axiom.ai Chrome extension allows you to build your automations and run them in our cloud infrastructure. Optionally, download our desktop application to act as a companion application to run automations locally - the extension is required to use Axiom.ai.

Installing the Chrome extension

To install the extension, head over to the Chrome Webstore (opens new window). Click "Add to Chrome" to install.

How to setup the Chrome extension:

1. Click "Add to Chrome" to install the extension.
2. Click the "jigsaw" icon in the Chrome toolbar to access the extension. Click the pin icon to pin this to your toolbar.
3. Click on the Axiom.ai extension icon to open the extension.

Permissions

Site access: We request permission to read and change all sites that you access. We do not collect data from the sites that you visit. This permission is required in order to allow for the display of the extension window (this loads in the page) and the running of your automations. This permission can be changed to specific sites, however, we do not recommend this and Axiom.ai may not work as expected.

Installing the desktop application

Installing the Axiom.ai desktop application allows you to run your automations locally - this is a companion application to the Chrome extension and is optional. The extension will be required to build and run your automations. This can allow for the usage of local files within your automations. Head over to our download page to get started. The application will need to be active to run your automations, but does not need to be open.

Automations run locally count towards your overall runtime.
